About The Role This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You will build deep expertise while working within a specialised team such as Intake, Assessment, Case Management or Out of Home Care.
You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children and young people by:
Responding to and assessing reports of children at risk of harmWorking directly with families to improve safety, stability and wellbeing Managing cases and coordinating interventions with other professionals Preparing reports and participating in court processes when required Building solid partnerships with children, families and service providers

About You
You bring compassion, a strong sense of purpose and you have:
Experience or knowledge in casework, community work, social work or human services The ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions High levels of resilience, emotional intelligence and integrityA genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing
You Hold
A relevant qualification in a related field (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, Community Services) at Diploma level or higher A Tasmanian Registration to work with Vulnerable People (or ability to obtain)



A valid driver's licence

Condition of Employment
Salary: $88,204 to $115,529 per annum + 12% Superannuation Classification: Allied Health Professional Level 1-2 Award/Agreement: Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement Hours of Work: 76 hours per fortnight.
Please note that other permanent and fixed-term vacancies that may arise in the future may also be filled from this process.
