Our products include custom Ute trays, truck bodies, trailers, mine spec vehicle builds, and specialised transport solutions.
With continued growth across the business, we are looking for an experiencedMechanical Design Engineer / Draftspersonto join our team.
You will play a key role in the design, development, and manufacture of cutting-edge transport solutions while working closely with our production team, customers and suppliers.
Your Duties will include the following:
Designs for Light & Heavy transport equipment
Develop and manage drafting standards.
Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.
Liaising with customers and suppliers by phone, email and in person
Manage drawing control register.
Manage and update customers and internal CRM systems.
Creation of products and project library
Attending weekly Manufacturing meetings
Material and Cost Estimation




Produce drawings for tenders, projects and the day-to-day operation within our busy workshop.
Liaise with Managers and Team Leaders in regard to ordering material.
Your skills and qualifications:
Must have extensive experience in SolidWorks or similar
Interpreting technical drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organizational and planning skills
Able to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Certification in Engineering Drafting and/or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.
Intricate knowledge of engineering principles relating to the transport industry including VSB6
You must have the right to work in Australia long term.
