Ventia is seeking a qualified Transmission Linesworker to perform construction and maintenance work on transmission networks across Australia.
The role is based from our Wingfield, South Australia depot, with travel required to various project locations throughout Australia.
Consideration will be given to candidates living in other capital cities across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
Perform transmission line construction and maintenance activitiesWork on transmission infrastructure operating from 66kV to 500kVInstall, maintain and repair poles, conductors, cables and associated electrical equipmentUndertake climbing, lifting, trenching and elevated work platform activitiesOperate plant, vehicles and equipment required for transmission line workComplete electronic and paper-based records and reportsComply with all safety procedures, policies and work instructions
Skills And Experience Required




Certificate III in ESI Transmission Overhead (or equivalent)Demonstrated experience in transmission line construction and maintenanceDemonstrated experience in live line stick and/or barehand transmission workStrong knowledge of transmission network safety requirements and secure work practicesAdditional high-voltage, switching or high-risk work licences/certifications are highly regardedAbility to travel and work on projects throughout Australia
