This role provides day to day support and floor supervision of sterilisation services and directly supervises and manages the Central Sterilising Departments team.

An opportunity has become available for aRegistered Nurse (Central Sterilising Department)to joinGold Coast Health(GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Directly supervise and manage the CSD team on both AM and PM shifts
Problem solve both staffing and machinery issues during the shift
Be a role model for all staff who work in the sterilisation unit
Ensure that reprocessing activity meets the needs of perioperative services and external customers
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
