$90,****** - $96,****** gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to *****% superannuation.
Permanent Full time position based in the Toowoomba CBD.

About the Tourism & Events team
The Tourism & Events team are the creative hub responsible for the promotion of visitation to the Toowoomba Region and the delivery of events, including the iconic Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, which has overall attendance exceeding 500,000, has won awards for the best major event in Australia on multiple occasions, and has been awarded a place in the National Tourism Hall of Fame.
You will work across multiple locations throughout the beautiful Toowoomba region, showcasing and promoting the unique opportunities we offer through your involvement with our Visitor Information Centres, tourism industry bodies and your participation in the delivery of a multitude of events.
The diversity of this team is demonstrated by the range of events they deliver including the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, Summer Tunes, Christmas in the CBD, Australia Day, Anzac Day and the over 80's Mayoral Christmas Parties – to name a few.
This is an exciting and challenging role for an individual who loves our region and all it has to offer and has a desire to put the Toowoomba Region on the map as a must do tourism destination.
About the position
As our new Events Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for the logistical planning, coordination, and execution of various events within the local government area, primarily Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.
In this role, you will ensure all logistical aspects of Council events are managed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of community events.
You will work under general supervision.
