This is asingle vacancy offered under a dual
classification, meaning it may be filled by either an
experienced, qualified Social Worker (AHP3) or Professional Officer
(PO3) depending on the qualification and suitability of the
successful applicant.
Essential Qualifications:
AHP (Allied Health Professional)
positionsrequire applicants to hold aSocial
Workqualification and be eligible
for full membership with the Australian Association of Social
Workers (AASW)
PO (Professional Officer)
positionsrequire relevant qualifications
inCommunity Services, Social Sciences, Human
Services, Healthor other related
fields.
Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not
have the essential qualification, may apply for and be
engaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitled
to apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring a
qualification in Social Work within the Department for Child
Protection (DCP).
In this role, you will:
Promote excellence in social work and case management
practice through supervision and professional guidance
Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching,
mentoring and performance management
Oversee the delivery of inclusive, accessible and
responsive services




Contribute to strategic planning, service improvement and
operational priorities across the agency
Build collaborative partnerships to support coordinated
service delivery and improved outcomes.

Salary:
AHP3: $112,139 - $120,284 p.a. + 12% super
+4% child protection allowance
+regional financial incentive
+Professional Development Allowance - entitlement to claim
reimbursement of eligible professional development expenses
+Qualification Allowance may apply if you hold
an additional qualification relevant to the
role.
PO3: $111,870 - $119,994 p.a. + 12% super
+additional child protection allowance.
