Trade Assistant / Patio Installer

GMC Home Improvements is looking for a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant or experienced Installer to join our growing team.
For over 12 years we've specialised in designing and installing premium motorised louvre roofs, patios, outdoor blinds and decking throughout the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle.
We don't build budget products—we build high-quality outdoor living spaces that are designed to last.
About the Role
Working alongside our experienced installer, you'll be involved in:
Installing premium motorised louvre roofs.
Patio and pergola construction.
Decking and outdoor blinds.
Site preparation and material handling.
Using power tools and maintaining a safe, tidy worksite.
Delivering workmanship we're proud to put our name on.
Every job is different, so you'll enjoy a variety of work rather than being stuck doing the same thing every day.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience in construction, carpentry, roofing or outdoor structures.
Has a robust work ethic and takes pride in quality workmanship.




Is reliable, punctual and presents professionally.
Enjoys working outdoors.
Holds a current driver's licence and vehicle.
Can work well in a small team.
Experience with patios, pergolas or louvre roofs is an advantage but not essential.
The right attitude is more important.
