About the role
FIX AUTO Wollongong is seeking a skilled and experiencedPanel Beaterto join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
Based in Wollongong NSW ****, this role is central to delivering exceptional vehicle repair and restoration services to our customers.
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for, repairing, and restoring vehicle panels and bodywork to the highest standards, ensuring every vehicle that leaves our facility meets our quality expectations and customer satisfaction requirements.
What you'll be doing
Remove and replace damaged vehicle panels using appropriate tools and techniques
Perform panel straightening and reshaping to restore vehicles to their original condition
Operate specialised panel beating equipment and machinery safely and effectively
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedure
Continuously improve techniques and stay updated with industry best practices
What we're looking for
Trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Panel Beater or Vehicle Body Repairer
Proven experience in panel beating
Proficiency with panel beating tools, equipment, and machinery
Strong understanding of vehicle construction and repair techniques
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Valid driver's licence and willingness to test drive vehicles as required
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Physical capability to perform demanding manual labour
