About the Role:
As a member of our Lifestyle team, you'll play an significant role in creating meaningful experiences that support the physical, emotional, cognitive and social wellbeing of our residents.
Responsibilities include:
Actively encouraging residents to participate in a variety of meaningful lifestyle and wellbeing activities
Assisting with the preparation, setup and delivery of group and individual activity programs
Building positive relationships and providing one-on-one engagement with residents
Supporting residents during special events, outings and community activities
Communicating effectively with residents, families, volunteers and team members
Recording attendance and contributing feedback to support continuous improvement of programs
Continually exploring new opportunities and activities to support the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of residents
Ensuring reporting and documentation requirements are completed accurately and efficiently
About you:
Experience in Aged Care, Community, or Health Services
A valid Australian Driver's Licence
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A genuine person-centred approach to care
Creativity and initiative in developing engaging activities
Confidence working with individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer's (highly regarded)
Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
