We source and distribute a large range of packaging and back of house supplies for the hospitality industry including things like coffee cups, takeaway containers, napkins, washroom supplies and cleaning chemicals.
As Tasmania's fastest growing packaging distributor, it is essential that our warehouse operations, operate in a safe and efficient manner.
The complexity around our high number of SKU's, and the frequency of customer orders, also dictates that our operations are performed accurately on a consistent basis by our dedicated team.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safe warehouse assistant with strong attention to detail to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently and accurately perform the warehouse operations of stock receipt, put away, pick, pack and load out
Conduct cycle counts to improve stock accuracy
As part of a small team, it is expected that you would also perform general duties when required including some van delivery work
About You
Protected and reliable
Physically fit and capable of performing the role
Strong attention to detail with good numeracy skills
Can work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable and able to follow instructions and procedures
Have full working rights in Australia
Qualifications & Experience
Current driver's license and have reliable transport
Experience in warehouse operations
Other highly regarded experiences would include
Forklift and or truck licenses
First aid and or safety qualifications
Exposure to packaging and the hospitality industry
