About the Role

TADWA is seeking a motivated Technology Consultant to join our Technology and Computer Services (TACS) team.
This is a wide-ranging role combining technical support, computer builds and repairs, customer service, and assistive technology in a purpose-driven organisation that supports older people and people living with disability.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the TACS Manager and Senior Technology Consultants, you'll be involved in the below.
Workshop Support
Collection of equipment (15kg) such as large servers, networking, large UPS, large printers.
Stacking and unpacking equipment in a standard van with low space.
Maintaining our technology workshop, build room, warehouse and inventory.
Assisting with technology donations,



recycling and stock management.
Sales and Administration Support
Maintaining multiple Sales Channels including online, reseller, and retail.
Maintaining accurate records, documentation and customer information.
Performing technology sales including face-to-face sales.
Contributing to marketing initiatives, reseller relationships and new service opportunities.
Assisting customers with technology purchases, upgrades and refurbished devices.
Supporting volunteers and junior team members through coaching and training.
Technical Support
Building, configuring and repairing desktop computers, laptops and other technology devices.
Providing remote and onsite technical support to home users and small businesses.
Supporting Assistive Technology services, including NDIS and Support at Home participants.
Building and supporting Alert Devices and providing user training.
Assisting with helpdesk operations and customer enquiries.
About You
You'll ideally bring:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail, business, online or technical computer sales or Helpdesk technical support.
Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent TAFE qualifications and/or industry recognised IT certifications.
Experience supporting home users and small businesses with IT issues.




Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows hardware and software.
Experience building, repairing and configuring computers and related devices.
Experience selling or recommending computers, tablets, smartphones or other technology products.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
The physical capability to safely lift and carry stock items of up to 15kg in a standard van.
Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A current WA Driver's License.
Desirable
Experience supporting seniors and people with disability.
Forklift Licence
