Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java applicationsParticipate in the full SDLC (design, development, deployment, maintenance)Contribute to system architecture and solution designBuild and secure RESTful APIsCollaborate with project teams and stakeholdersTroubleshoot production issues and optimise performanceCreate and maintain technical documentationShare knowledge and mentor junior developersStay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements
For the Lead Consultants: additional duties: juniors mentoring, driving digital transformation and building trusted relationships with the clients.
RequirementsAt least 5+ years of experience with Java (Kotlin/Scala is a plus)Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)Experience designing and building RESTful APIsSolid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles,



and design patternsExperience with Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with version control systems (Git)Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines)Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issuesStrong communication skills+AngularJS and AWS for the role in Leeds

Salary:Depending on your experience and performance during the interview process:Manchester/Newcastle: £45,000-£50,000 + £600 in cash benefits
