Balanced Mind Body Life

A little bit about us:
Balanced: Mind Body Life is a welcoming private practice in South Hobart providing psychology, dietetics and assessment services.
We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in an environment where clients feel respected, supported and at ease.
We value compassion, professionalism and continuous improvement, and believe that every member of our team contributes to exceptional client care.
We are seeking a Receptionist to join the Balanced team on a part-time basis (two days per week).
The successful applicant will work alongside our friendly Office Manager, Hayley, on either a Tuesday or a Thursday, and independently on a Wednesday.
Our reception team plays an important role in creating a calm, welcoming experience for clients from their very first interaction with the practice.
Many of our clients are attending during difficult periods in their lives, so warmth, professionalism and genuine care are at the heart of this role.
While previous administration or healthcare experience is highly regarded, we are committed to providing training and support for the right person.
The role will include:
Greeting clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner.
Managing client enquiries via phone and email.
Scheduling appointments and managing multiple clinicians' diaries using our practice management software, Cliniko.
Processing invoices, payments and Medicare rebates.
Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks (e.g. photocopying and sending e-faxes).
Ensuring the reception area is welcoming, organised and well presented.
Key skills we are looking for:
Warm, professional communication and an excellent telephone manner.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritise competing tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Confidence learning new systems and technology.
Initiative and a willingness to identify practical solutions to day-to-day challenges.
Strong written communication and computer skills (including email, Microsoft Word and Excel).
Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
A genuine desire to support clients, clinicians and colleagues.
An interest in contributing ideas and helping us continually improve the way we work.
How to apply:
If you are interested in joining our friendly, values-driven practice, please submit your resume and a cover letter addressed to Meg and Jodie outlining why you would be well suited to the role.
Applications should be emailed ******.
As part of your cover letter, we encourage you to briefly answer the following two questions:
What appeals to you about working at Balanced: Mind Body Life?
Can you tell us about a time you noticed a problem or prospect for improvement and took the initiative to address it?
Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
