Employment Status: (part time - 22.8 hours per week)
Classification: SCHADS Level 3/4 (Dependent upon experience)

About the Role

Working within the Philanthropy and Engagement team and reporting to the Head of Philanthropy and Engagement, theMarketing,
Fundraising and Events Assistantprovides hands-on administrative and coordination support across campaigns, communications and events.
This role focuses on execution, content support and day-to-day delivery, with the opportunity to develop skills and experience under guidance.
Key Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Fundraising Campaigns and Appeals
Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns, appeals and supporter communications
Assist with donor acknowledgements, updates and stewardship communications
Prepare, update and distribute campaign assets, and maintain campaign timelines and data
Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and campaign results
Support the development of impact stories and case studies
Marketing and Communications
Draft and schedule social media content across platforms
Assist with e-newsletters, website updates and campaign content
Draft and edit copy using approved messaging and templates
Maintain content calendars, assets and brand materials
Organise photos, stories and visual content
Events & Community Fundraising
Provide administrative and logistical support for events and fundraising activities
Assist with registrations, communications, and event preparation
Support community fundraisers with resources and basic enquiries
Assist with sourcing auction and raffle items
Support post-event follow-up, acknowledgements and reporting
Administration & Systems
Maintain CRM data and supporter records
Assist with reporting, tracking and documentation
Support general administration across the team
Contribute to organised systems,
processes and compliance requirements
About You
You are organised, proactive, and motivated to develop your skills in marketing, fundraising, and events within the not-for-profit sector.
Essential Requirements
Relevant qualification or early career experience in marketing, communications, fundraising or events
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Confidence using digital tools, social media and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Understanding of (or willingness to learn about) domestic and family violence
Experience
1–2 years' experience in a similar or transferable role
Other Requirements
National Police Check and relevant screening (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours events
Ability to travel if required

SCHADS Award Level 3–4 (dependent on experience)
