Bache Bros, one of South Australia's premier fresh produce suppliers is currently seeking a Machine Operator / Fresh Produce Packer.
This is a fast-paced environment and is perfect for someone looking for a daily challenge and wanting to work with a outstanding team of professionals who are passionate about fresh produce.
This is a full-time and ongoing position and all applicants must have the rights to work full time in Australia with no restrictions.
This role requires 5 am starts Monday to Friday.
One weekend shift a fortnight required, typically 5-9am.
The Dispatch and Warehouse Assistant reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the timely and accurate picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
The successful candidate will be detail focused, have exceptional customer service and experience in picking and packing.
This role requires somebody nimble and responsive, who is committed to keeping pace in an ever-changing environment.
This role will require a forklift licence and experience loading and unloading trucks.
What we are looking for
To be successful in these roles you will need to demonstrate recent experience, within a small to medium size business.
Tasks to be performed will include, but not be limited to:
Dispatch and Collation of Orders
Packing produce on a production line
Sorting of fruit, ideally citrus or avocados
Loading and unloading truck
Preparation of Paperwork
General warehouse duties
Forklift licence required
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in warehouse practices (3+ years)
Good, clear communication skills
Fast paced packing
Ability to lift 13kg boxes and undertake manual labour
Planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
A willingness to work as part of a team and autonomously
High standard of work, striving for continuous improvement
Attention to detail and accuracy
Willing to work and learn
Team Player
