Allied Dental

Western Australia

A fifth chair from August.
Room for seven.
One leader to build the team that fills them.
Allied Dental Ocean Keys is growing, and growing fast given we opened 6 years ago.
We outgrew our original location and moved almost 3 years ago.
In our new locatio, our fifth chair will be installed in August, with space for two more after that.
That growth doesn't happen because a room gets fitted out.
It happens because someone builds a team capable of filling it; and holds that team to a standard every single day.
That's the job.
About us
Allied Dental is a network of six general practices across Perth, supported by a dedicated head office in South Perth that handles HR, marketing, finance and operations.
You won't be doing payroll from a laptop at midnight or figuring out a marketing plan on your own; you'll have specialists behind you.
What you will own is the practice: your team, your patients, your numbers, your standards.
Our current Practice Manager has done real work here by developing the team, lifting standards, and getting the practice ready for the next phase.
We're looking for someone to pick that up and take it further, not start from scratch.
What you'll actually be accountable for
Your team.Inducting, coaching, rostering and developing a growing clinical and administrative team.
Setting the standard and holding people to it — including the conversations most people avoid.
Practice performance.Schedule utilisation, recent patient conversion, recall and reactivation, treatment plan follow-through.
You'll know your numbers weekly, not monthly,

and you'll know what's driving them.
Capacity planning.Taking us from four chairs to seven — clinician coverage, nursing ratios, appointment book design and the operational rhythm that makes it all work.
Team development.Continuing the development pathways already underway for our coordinators and senior nurses, using our competency and pay progression frameworks.
Patient experience.Every patient, every touchpoint, consistently.
Complaints handled properly and early.
The day-to-day.Compliance, stock, equipment, infection control, and stepping onto the floor when the practice needs you there.
Who we're looking for
This role isn't for the faint-hearted.
We're upfront about that.
It suits someone who:
Has led a team before and is genuinely comfortable holding people accountable — warmly, directly, and without letting things slide
Can think about the practice from a height, then roll their sleeves up and support the team on the floor in the same day
Reads numbers confidently and can explain what they mean to the people who influence them
Works well with clinicians and understands how to earn a busy dentist's trust
Is resilient, organised, and doesn't need to be chased

Wants to be developed — we invest heavily in our managers, and we expect you to use it
Experience:Dental practice management is ideal.
Management experience in healthcare, allied health or another high-volume, standards-driven service environment will also be considered.
A qualification in practice management would be a bonus.
Experience with Praktika is an advantage but not essential — we'll train you.
What's on offer
A practice in genuine growth mode, with the investment behind it to back that up
Structured development: a defined competency framework, a clear pay progression pathway, and a leadership team that coaches rather than just delegates
Head office support across HR, marketing, finance and operations
Career pathway across a growing group of practices
Competitive salary reviewed against your progression through the framework, plus performance bonuses tied to practice results
How to apply
Email your resume and a brief cover letter ******.
In the cover letter, tell us about a time you held a team member accountable and how it turned out, half a page is plenty.
We read those closely.
Our process and timing:Strong applicants will be invited to a short pre-screen conversation, with formal interviews commencing from 3 August.
We're not running this to a fixed closing date — we'll make an offer as soon as we're confident we've found the right person, so if this role interests you, apply early rather than waiting.
All applications are treated confidentially.
