About the role
Olive Grove Delicatessen is seeking aCafe All Rounderto join our team.
As a Cafe All Rounder, you will be the backbone of our cafe operations, providing excellent customer service whilst supporting all aspects of our day-to-day activities.
Whether you're taking orders, preparing food, managing the till, or ensuring our space is clean and inviting, your contribution will be essential to delivering a memorable experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and taking food and beverage orders in a friendly and efficient manner
Preparing and serving food and drinks to a high standard, ensuring all items meet our quality expectations
Operating the till accurately and processing payments securely
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the cafe, including tables, counters and kitchen areas
Restocking supplies and ensuring inventory is well-managed
Supporting the preparation of food items as directed by the kitchen team
Responding promptly to customer requests and resolving any concerns professionally
Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Following all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers
A flexible and reliable approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Competence in handling cash and operating a till or point-of-sale system
Positive attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards




The ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during peak service times
A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues
Current Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one
