Site Engineer - Civil Roads Project | Blue Mountains
Our client, a well-established civil contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team delivering a major road infrastructure project in the Blue Mountains.
This is a temporary contract position with an immediate start, running for an initial 6-9 months.
The Role
Manage day-to-day engineering activities on-site, ensuring works are delivered to specification, program, and budget
Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, and site supervisors to ensure smooth site operations
Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Assist with quality assurance, ensuring compliance with project ITPs and relevant standards
Support setout, survey checks, and as-built documentation
Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and escalating risks or delays
Liaise with the Project Manager and broader site team to resolve technical issues
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with WHS requirements
About You
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering




Proven site engineering experience on road infrastructure projects
Experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor
Strong understanding of civil construction methods, survey, and setout
Working knowledge of relevant RMS/TfNSW specifications highly regarded
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a site team
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel/work in office in the Blue Mountains
Available to start immediately
