We are looking for aProject Managerto work on our various Western Power Civil & Electrical Projects within our Underground Utilities Division.

This position is based in our Welshpool Depot, working Monday to Friday.
This is a leadership-focused position requiring a strong commitment to safety, stakeholder engagement, and project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, prepare and formalise project tenders in conjunction with commercial & estimating teams.
Manage the life cycle of civil & electrical infrastructure projects.
Lead a team of engineers and supervisors, guiding them to achieve project goals.
Foster strong client relations, ensuring satisfaction across the project lifecycle.
Develop detailed project plans, covering scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
Manage project budgets efficiently, implementing cost-effective measures.
Uphold high-quality project delivery, surpassing industry standards.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges and keep senior management across project issues, delays or other liabilities.
Essential Skills & Qualifications




Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in the civil engineering and construction industry with demonstrated experience in project management.
Western Power project experience is highly regarded.
Qualification in Civil Engineering.
Experience in managing subcontractors & liaising with clients.
Effective team management and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, delegate, schedule, and plan.
Capability to operate autonomously, demonstrating initiative, while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
Proficiency in handling high-pressure situations while upholding a meticulous attention to detail.
