About the Role
As a Manufacturing Trade Assistant, you'll be responsible for assembling large water filtration arrays within a modern manufacturing facility.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with tools, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and has a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble large-scale water filtration systems and components
Read and interpret drawings, schematics and assembly plans
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively




Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the workshop
Assist with overhead crane operations (experience highly regarded)
Wear respirators and other required PPE when necessary
Follow work instructions and production schedules
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in a manufacturing or assembly environment
A current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
Confidence using hand tools and power tools
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
A strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions
The ability to wear respirators when required
Experience operating overhead cranes (advantageous)
A trade qualification or mechanical background (highly regarded)
