THE OPPORTUNITY
We're growing fast, and we need a high-energy, passionate coach to join our team, with real potential to grow into a 2IC / leadership role.
Coach across the board - from recreational classes through to our mini competitive squads (based on your suitability and experience)
Coach up to a high level in gymnastics/tumbling (we're open to the right person if their energy, drive and coachability are there)
Hours depend on experience and level - withfull-time available for the right person

The Gymnastics Hub and Tumble Lab are lifting the standard for gymnastics and tumbling on the Gold Coast.
We coach gymnasts, dancers and cheerleaders across our gymnastics and tumbling programs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This isn't a "run a class and clock out" role.
We're looking for someone who brings purpose, pride and intention to their coaching - and who's looking to be part of something for the long haul.
Someone who wants a real seat in shaping and growing a gymnastics club, not just a job.
For the right person, this role can grow into a 2IC position - stepping up and covering leadership when needed, and playing a real part in how the business is run.
You'll receive ongoing training and mentoring in:
Effective, intentional coaching
Safe, confident spotting
Building strong foundations before progressing skills
Managing class energy, behaviour and engagement
Becoming a confident, respected and well-rounded coach - and, over time, a leader
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach high-energy, high-quality gymnastics/tumbling classes across Rec through to mini competitive squads
Teach strong technique and progressions
Spot safely and confidently (training provided)
Contribute ideas to refine programs
Assist with term planning and skill tracking
Maintain a safe, organised and clean coaching environment
Support workshops, holiday programs and open days
(For the right person) step into 2IC responsibilities over time
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR




You'll thrive here if you:
Have 7+ years coaching experience in gymnastics
Have coached kids from first class through to L6/7 - we care more about the quality of your coaching than the level you've reached.
A coach who delivers every class brilliantly means more to us than one who's technically "high-level" but doesn't bring the same care
Have previous experience in a leadership or "in charge" role - coordinating a program, running a team, or similar
Bonus experience in session planning (rec and competitive), mentoring junior coaches, or social media
Understand that excellent service is what keeps members coming back, and take pride in delivering it
Take initiative and ownership
Are looking for a long-term role - somewhere to help shape and grow the club, not just work
Are available after-school hours and/or Saturdays
Bonus: Coaching accreditation, First Aid & CPR, Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
