The Opportunity
Australian Unity is recruiting three Incident Managers with responsibility for the end-to end management of incidents on behalf of the Wealth & Capital Markets platform, with a strong focus on client services, registry systems, data analysis and financial impact assessment.
They will assess incidents, uncover root cause issues, quantify financial exposure, and design and implement remediation actions, ensuring accurate application of remediation amounts and alignment with policy and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Management
Assess incidents in line with AU policies and procedural requirements, identifying underlying root causes rather than symptoms
Analyse and interpret registry systems data, client records and transactional data to identify impacted customers and quantify incidents, across both internal and third-party relationships
Demonstrate and apply critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills to design, develop and implement solutions to resolve incidents and control weaknesses.
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements,
uncover areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions
Develop recommendations addressing process, system, governance and organisational factors.
Provide proactive input on where improvements can be made, including; processes, systems, tools, roles and structure
Business Consultation & Stakeholder Engagement
Build deep understanding of business W&CM; objectives and priorities
Proactive relationship management with business and technical stakeholders to ensure continued commitment from all impacted areas
Problem Solving / Analysis & Outcomes
Instill confidence in partners in the problem-solving process that a selected solution fit for purpose
Provide data-driven insights to support prioritisation, operational uplift and improved customer outcomes
Present the business with new solution options that have been evaluated effectively using a problem-solving framework
Evaluate and assist the business with solution options considering customer experience, operational efficiency, and financial impact.

The Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate(s) is a highly organised and commercially minded professional with experience within financial services, preferably across client services, registry, wealth administration, or platform operations environments.
They bring a strong understanding of registry systems, client administration platforms, and associated data flows,
combined with experience operating within highly regulated environments where governance, compliance, and audit requirements are critical.
With exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, they are able to assess complex problems, make sound decisions, and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
You will bring
At least 5+ years' experience within financial services, ideally across client services, registry, or wealth administration environments
Experience working with registry systems, client administration platforms, and associated data flows
Experience operating in highly governed, regulated environments with strong audit requirements
Project management and or co-ordination of initiatives and cross functional teams
Competent in use of project management software including MS project, Visio and PowerPoint
