We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, construction company with a strong national reputation, and they're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cadet to join their hardworking team in Rockhampton on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently studying Construction Management (or a related discipline) to gain genuine industry exposure while building a long-term career with a business known for its down-to-earth culture and close-knit teams.

Responsibilities:
As a Cadet, you'll be involved in:
Assisting the Contracts Administrator with all sub-contract letting
Maintaining and managing project registers, including variations, EOT, and procurement registers
Assisting in the preparation of subcontracts and associated documentation
Processing invoices
Taking and issuing meeting minutes
Document control
Working closely with the project team, including site personnel
Undertaking weekly site visits
Assisting with defect management
Preparing monthly reports
What you'll bring:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related field,



or current studies in this discipline
Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to work well in a team and use initiative when working independently
Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
A down-to-earth, professional, and personable approach to your work
