ABM Contractors is recruiting experienced underground coal operators for long-term bord and pillar work at Carborough.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
$***** per hour for all rostered 12-hour shifts
Annual leave paid as though you are rostered at work
Overtime rates for additional shifts and hours worked beyond 12 hours
Superannuation paid on all rostered hours
Permanent full-time employment with paid leave entitlements
Accrued leave entitlements paid on cessation after 12 months' continuous service
7 days on, 7 days off roster, rotating between day and night shifts
Camp accommodation and meals while rostered
Bus transport between camp and the mine
Weekly bus transport available from Mackay to camp

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for experienced operators who demonstrate:
Solid underground risk-management and safety behaviours
Proven bord and pillar mining experience within an underground black coal mine
A reliable,



practical and productive approach to work
The ability to work effectively as part of an underground crew
Competency operating underground mining equipment relevant to the role
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated bord and pillar experience within underground black coal mining
Current Standard 11 – Underground and Surface
Current underground coal competencies relevant to the position
Current Coal Mine Workers' Health Scheme medical assessment or the ability to obtain one
Ability to complete drug and alcohol screening within 14 days before induction
Current Australian working rights
Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
These are experienced positions and are not entry-level opportunities.
