We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Mackay Service team.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a range of service-related projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver complex service-related projects on time and within budget
Monitor project work to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and engineering practices
Liaise with engineering, production teams, and subcontractors
Take accountability for and resolve daily operational issues
Develop and maintain strong, high-value customer relationships
Ensure customer requirements are met from contract initiation through to completion
Apply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex project challenges
About You
You are a proactive and solutions-focused professional with strong leadership and communication skills.
You thrive in dynamic environments and have a proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a solid safety focus.
Qualifications
Electrotechnology trade qualification (e.g. Cert III in Electrotechnology)
Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
Tertiary qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience
Technical Competencies & Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (presentations, spreadsheets, reports)
Ability to use digital collaboration tools in remote or geographically dispersed teams
Experience using ERP systems for resource management and cost tracking
Current Driver's Licence
Experience
Minimum 5 years' project management experience, or 8+ years in a specialist field
Experience in heavy manufacturing and/or mining environments
Strong problem-solving skills across technical and people management challenges
Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
Proven customer relationship management experience
