About The Role
We are seeking an experienced H&S; Advisor to support the implementation and effectiveness of health and safety systems across our Blackwater site operations.
Reporting to the HSET Superintendent, you will provide hands-on advice to frontline leaders and crews, facilitate risk and hazard management activities, support injury management and rehabilitation processes, and play a key role in incident investigations, audits, and ongoing safety program delivery.
Key Responsibilities Include
Provide advice and support to frontline leaders and workers on risk and hazard managementAssist with implementation and ongoing improvement of the SHMS across siteParticipate in and facilitate functional audits (CRM, SHMS)Support injury management and return-to-work processesConduct and assist with incident investigations and analysisDeliver and support site-based H&S; programs and initiativesAct as a key point of contact for workers regarding H&S; systems and processesPromote a strong safety culture aligned to zero harm principles
About You




Minimum Diploma in WHS / OHS (or similar)RIIRIS402 (G2) and Supervisor Competencies (S1–S3) preferredICAM or equivalent incident investigation qualification highly regardedRehabilitation and Return to Work competency desirableMinimum 2 years' experience in H&S; within mining, construction, or heavy industryStrong understanding of risk management and incident investigation practicesExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence across diverse teamsEnergetic, proactive, and committed to improving frontline safety outcomes
