Role Description
As a Senior Field Technician at Leakfix, you will lead the diagnosis and waterproofing remediation work on-site for various commercial and residential structures.
While you operate independently in the field travelling to customer sites, you are supported by our digital job-management setup.
You will inspect defects, prep surfaces, apply high-performance sealants/membranes, and document your work.
The role includes writing clear, straightforward service reports,



communicating clearly with site managers or property owners, and ensuring jobs are sealed right the first time.
You will also help maintain strict safety standards, mentor junior technicians, and maintain the high quality our reputation is built on.
Qualifications
Expert Structural Sealing & Waterproofing: Deep hands-on experience in building envelope sealing or structural waterproofing.Diagnostic Skills: Ability to look at a building exterior, window flashing, or concrete slab, understand water-flow physics, and pinpoint exactly where the ingress is happening.Trade Background: Previous experience in waterproofing, roof tiling/cladding, building maintenance, or a related structural trade.Communication: Solid, no-nonsense communication skills to explain issues to clients on-site and coordinate with the office.Tech-Literate: Comfortable using mobile apps/digital platforms to update job statuses, upload photos, and complete simple field reports.Leadership: Ability to work unsupervised, solve problems on your feet, and guide junior techs or trade assistants when needed.Essentials: Valid Australian driver's license, construction White Card, and a flawless eye for detail.
