We're on the hunt for a Senior Engineer (Road Infrastructure and Assets) to join the Asset Management team within Technical Services, providing technical advice across batter slope, grids, signs, delineation, and the Active Transport Rehabilitation and Improvement program.

What you'll be doing:
Conducting assessments of road infrastructure and preparing reports on recommended engineering solutions
Developing asset management strategies for transport infrastructure that minimise whole-of-life costs
Providing support and advice on planning and design processes to ensure program outcomes, value for money, and best practice are achieved
Determining engineering requirements — materials, critical components, and systems — to support project management and delivery
Maintaining and applying relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements for road infrastructure design and construction
Ensuring quality management procedures are adhered to,



delivering road projects to a high and consistent standard
Managing and maintaining effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders on transport infrastructure delivery matters
Planning, assigning, directing, supervising and coordinating work activities in managing the Targeted Road Safety Program (TRSP), fostering teamwork and a positive team culture
Completing lines and signs correspondence and public enquiries in a timely manner, as directed by the Principal Engineer (Asset Management)
Essential criteria:
A four-year, Washington Accord accredited Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks)
Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
Current Class C driver's licence
Construction Industry Induction (White Card)

Rate:PO4 – $***** to $*****/hr + Super
Location:Nerang, QLD
