We support older Australians to navigate life's transitions with confidence, joy and purpose, through reliable, family-oriented care that promotes independence, wellbeing and meaningful relationships.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Roster Coordinator / Team Leader to manage day-to-day staff and client rostering, support our team through leave and availability changes, and help foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone who thinks clearly under pressure, works well both independently and as part of a team, and takes pride in getting the details right for clients and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage and continuously refine staff and client rosters to ensure safe, consistent and reliable care coverage
Match helpers to client needs, preferences, skills and locations, minimising gaps, clashes and last-minute changes
Oversee team leave requests and planning, balancing roster coverage with staff wellbeing
Act as first point of contact for rostering conflicts, availability changes and urgent client scheduling needs
Lead and model a positive, supportive team culture aligned with our values of reliability, empathy, community and exceeding expectations
Provide general administrative support to the team as required
Maintain accurate, up-to-date rostering and client records in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards and privacy obligations
Identify scheduling risks early and apply sound, independent judgement to resolve them
About You
Minimum 3 years experience in rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination, ideally within aged care, disability or community services
A critical thinker who makes sound, timely decisions, including when working independently
Proven ability to lead, support and motivate a team, while collaborating effectively across the wider business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to person-centred care
Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Confident with rostering/scheduling software and the Microsoft Office suite
Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain), Aged Care worker screening clearance as applicable, and full working rights in Australia
What We Offer
A supportive, family-oriented culture where your judgement and initiative are valued
Ongoing training and professional development
Competitive salary package aligned with your skills and experience, plus superannuation
The opportunity to make a genuine, day-to-day difference in the lives of older Australians and their families
