Your new role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager for SA, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Adelaide warehouse while overseeing the roll out and management of future satellite yards.
Working Monday to Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm), you will be responsible for ensuring warehouse operations run safely, efficiently and accurately within a fast-paced hire and sales environment.
Leading a small, close-knit team, you'll remain hands-on while driving process improvements, maintaining stock accuracy (hundreds of SKUs only, not thousands) and supporting the continued growth of the South Australian operation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing daily warehouse operations including receivals, dispatch, returns and inventory control;
Leading,



coaching and developing a small warehouse team while fostering a positive safety culture;
Maintaining warehouse and yard presentation, organisation and compliance with WHS standards;
Overseeing stock accuracy and ensuring equipment is available to meet customer demand;
Managing the operation of existing and future satellite yards across South Australia;
Driving continuous improvement across warehouse systems, processes and efficiencies with some work to be done around bin locations and alike;
Working closely with operations, sales, subcontractors and the National Warehouse Manager to deliver outstanding service; and
Supporting the ongoing growth of the Adelaide branch through strong leadership and operational excellence.
Your background:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager (small scale team management okay) within warehousing, logistics, hire, industrial or similar industries;
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate operational teams within a hands-on environment;
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control and stock management;
Experience working within fast-paced, reactive environments with changing priorities;
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills;
Commitment to workplace safety, compliance and continuous improvement;
Forklift licence (or ability to obtain) highly regarded; and
