Your Role
As a Lift Technician at GBE Group, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting lift installations, maintenance, and repairs in strict adherence to Australian standards and regulations:
Employing your technical expertise to diagnose and rectify faults in electrical and mechanical systems promptly and effectively.
Ensuring the safety and reliability of lift installations through meticulous attention to detail.
Routine inspections and fault diagnosis:
Performing routine inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
Diagnosing faults in electrical and mechanical systems using industry-standard troubleshooting techniques.
Implementing appropriate solutions to restore optimal functionality and prevent future problems.
Collaborating with project teams to assist in the installation of lift systems for recent construction, refurbishment, and upgrade projects:
Contributing to the planning and execution of lift installations to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Ensuring seamless integration of lift systems with other project components.




Excellent customer service and job management:
Providing exceptional customer service, establishing positive relationships, and understanding clients' specific needs and preferences.
Managing job flow, coordinating schedules, and effectively communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Overseeing the ordering and procurement of materials, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring timely availability of required resources.
Utilizing GBE Group Aroflo Job Management System:
Leveraging the GBE Group Aroflo Job Management System to streamline workflow processes, track job progress, and enhance overall efficiency.
Familiarising yourself with the system's functionalities to effectively manage tasks, documentation, and communication within the platform.
Coordinating with project managers and clients:
Collaborating closely with project managers to ensure seamless execution of installations.
Communicating regularly with clients to understand their specific requirements and preferences.
Offering expert advice and recommendations based on technical expertise and industry knowledge.
Completing project documentation:
Thoroughly documenting project details,



including test results, measurements, and other relevant data.
Preparing accurate and detailed sketches to aid in drafting and future reference.
Ensuring all project documentation is complete, organised, and easily accessible for future use.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid electrician license preferable
Proven experience as a Lift Technician, preferably in a similar setting.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, drawing interpretation, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A valid driver's license.
