About Our Client
Our client is a leading industry supplier with a solid focus on safety, teamwork, and efficiency.
They are currently seeking a Yard Hand to join their operations team.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone reliable and hands-on looking for long-term, local work.
What You Will Be Doing
Execute planned and preventative maintenance activities on transport and transfer equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and undertake fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
Perform maintenance and repair work on heavy vehicles, trailers, pumps, and associated equipment.
Work closely with the Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance priorities and schedules.
Monitor equipment condition and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manage spare parts and inventory requirements to support maintenance activities.
What You Will Need
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR*****) or equivalent recognised Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Trade Qualification mandatory.Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, field service, or a similar mechanical environment.Proven experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy vehicles,



trailers, pumps, and associated equipment.Strong computer skills, including work order management, inventory systems, and electronic reporting.Current unrestricted driver's licence.Ability to travel and work an 8 days on / 6 days off roster.
