About the role
Pructon is seeking an experiencedSite Supervisorto join our team.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedSite Supervisor with a strong rigging and crane operations background.
This is a hands-on leadership role is suited to an individual who has progressed through the rigging, lifting and crane operations industry and has extensive experience supervising shutdown, construction, maintenance, SMP, structural steel or major lifting activities on mine sites.
The position is FIFO2:1 roster
Key responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site operations on site ensuring work is delivered safely and to project specifications.
Coordinate crane, rigging, heavy lifting and installation activities in line with approved lift plans and site requirements.
Plan and schedule work to maximise productivity, efficiency and safe project delivery.
Lead work crews, operators, riggers to achieve project objectives and timelines.
Review lift studies, lift plans, SWMS, JHAs and risk assessments to support safe work execution.
Ensure compliance with site health, safety, environmental and quality management systems.
Conduct toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and site briefings to communicate priorities and safety expectations.
Manage labour, plant and equipment resources to optimise productivity and site performance.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, incident reports, progress updates and project documentation.
Liaise with clients, project managers, subcontractors and key stakeholders to support effective communication and coordination.
What we're looking for
Background inRigging, Crane Operations, Mechanical,
Structural Steel or SMP Construction.
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar leadership role within the mining or resources sector.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, lift planning, rigging methodologies and site-based work practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage crews, subcontractors and equipment resources effectively
Sound knowledge of Australian health, safety, environmental and quality requirements for construction and mining sites.
Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost-control capability to support efficient project delivery.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Relevant tickets and qualifications, including White Card, current Australian Driver's Licence and supervisor qualifications such as Schedule 26 or S123.
