Our client is a growing WA roofing and construction business with a strong reputation for quality, service and delivery.
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant/Administration skilled to work closely with our CEO and CFO (and the wider business) in a broad, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the business.
This is a key appointment for us and is not a narrow accounting role.
It is suited to a qualified Management Accountant who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in everything from financial modelling, monthly management reporting, cash flow, payroll, BAS, debtors and bookkeeping, through to staff onboarding, compliance, office administration and day-to-day business support.
This is a genuinely varied role where no two days are the same!
Working closely with the CEO, CFO and teams, we are looking for someone who is already operating in a similar broad role (in construction would be great!), qualified in accounting with at least 2 - 5 years' experience, who is just as comfortable preparing management reports and overseeing payroll as they are managing the day-to-day administration and operational support that keeps a business running well.
What you will bring:




Advanced MYOB and Excel skills and experience – non-negotiable
Proven experience working in a similar role
Accounting qualification – 2+ years' experience
Experience with project-based software or Simpro, would be a major advantage
A willingness to take direction and learn
The confidence to communicate clearly, problem solve, and follow things through
A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
A proactive, switched-on and forward-thinking approach
