About the role
Hospitality Management Services is seeking a dedicated and experiencedHospitality Managerto join our team at our Hope Island, QLD location.
This is afull-time positionthat offers the opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of hospitality operations within our establishment.
As Hospitality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the successful delivery of memorable guest experiences.
This role is integral to the success of our organisation and plays a vital part in achieving our strategic objectives within the hospitality and tourism industry.
Key responsibilities
Oversee and manage all hospitality operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams
Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained across all guest interactions and touchpoints
Recruit, train, supervise and develop hospitality staff to achieve operational excellence
Monitor budgets, control costs and maximise revenue opportunities whilst maintaining service quality
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards and relevant hospitality legislation
Manage inventory, stock levels and supplier relationships to ensure efficient operations
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and best practice protocols
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency
Analyse performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for




Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in a hospitality management role within a hotel, resort, restaurant or similar establishment
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage teams of varying sizes
Excellent customer service orientation with a demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
Sound knowledge of hospitality management systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems and relevant software applications
Thorough understanding of health, safety and food hygiene regulations within the hospitality sector
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control and revenue optimisation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Flexibility and resilience, with the ability to adapt to the demands of the hospitality industry
Relevant hospitality management qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential)
