Job Description
The Maker Group We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who enjoys producing quality work and working over on a variety of custom projects.
Perks Full-time, stable employment with a well-established business Competitive salary based on skills and experience Opportunity for career growth Ongoing training and opportunities for professional development Modern workshop and equipment Task & responsibilities Manufacture custom cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, and other joinery items from detailed drawings and specifications Measure, cut, shape, assemble and fit timber, laminates and other cabinet-making materials using hand and power tools Operate woodworking machinery and computer-controlled equipment to produce cabinetry components with accuracy Install completed cabinetry and joinery on-site, ensuring a high standard of finish and compliance with project requirements Apply edging, laminates, hardware, and other finishing materials to complete products Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation Liaise professionally with supervisors, clients and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently Carry out repairs,



adjustments and maintenance to existing cabinetry when required Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with workplace health and safety procedures Qualification & experience Certificate III in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a related trade qualification Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role Ability to accurately read and interpret workshop drawings and plans Experience using woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team
