Role Description The Qualified Landscaper is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubbo, NSW.
In this position, the landscaper will carry out day-to-day landscape construction and maintenance tasks, including preparing sites, installing plants, turf, and hardscape elements, and ensuring finished work meets design specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities include maintaining gardens and lawns, operating landscaping tools and machinery, installing and maintaining irrigation systems, and assisting with the implementation of landscape designs on both residential and commercial projects.




The role involves working closely with team members, following project plans and schedules, and interacting professionally with clients and contractors.
The landscaper will also help uphold Dubbo Landscaping's quality, safety, and environmental standards on every job.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Landscape Maintenance and Gardening, including plant care, pruning, mowing, and weed control.Practical experience with Irrigation systems, such as installation, troubleshooting, and efficient water management.Competence in Landscape Design and Landscaping, including reading plans, setting out sites, and constructing outdoor spaces.Experience operating common landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, compactors, loaders) safely and effectively.Relevant trade qualification or certificate in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Sound knowledge of plants, soils, and outdoor construction materials, with an eye for detail and quality workmanship.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, manage physical tasks, and follow workplace health and safety procedures.Robust teamwork, communication, and time management skills, with a reliable work ethic and valid driver's license.
