Budding Tutoring is looking for educated, personable people to work as tutors around Adelaide.
Tutors are connected to Budding Tutoring's clients to provide results for their students.
Tutors travel to schools and student's homes.
Work is all around Adelaide, but tutors choose their students and calendars.
Budding Tutoring is an established tutoring firm in Adelaide, coordinating tutoring for clients from key organisations and parents looking to help improve students' grades.
Contracts with clients vary, but Budding is always committed to offering the best for clients and tutors.
Requirements of the role:
a valid Working With Children's Check (can be applied for once accepted)
demonstrable skill in either Mathematics or written work
ability to educate students
a personal vehicle
strong people skills
ability to work well with children
wide availability for working times
Ideal candidates will also have any of:
experience tutoring or teaching
excellent Year 12 results or university results
full days available for tutoring (at our more significant clients who require longer sessions)



OR excellent availability from 3-6pm weeknights
experience with children with Autism and ADHD
Budding Tutoring is happy for you to invoice for your travel time.
If you set out at 8 and get back at 4 from a school, you can bill for all 8 hours (even with a lunch break or further travel time).
Most tutors bill hourly, and at around $40p.h.
, equating to a pay per hour of tutoring of around $45-$65.
In addition, superannuation is paid to tutors.
Anyone of any age is encouraged to apply if they fit the requirements.
We highly encourage anyone experienced with children with Autism or ADHD to apply.
We also highly encourage anyone of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent to apply, especially as some of our work is focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Tutors ought not to expect this to be their sole source of income, and instead as a supplement to work around their existing schedules.
