We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicatedDisability Support Workersto join our growing team across theSunshine Coast and Cabooltureregions.
About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants living in ourSupported Independent Living (SIL)homes throughout the Caloundra, Sunshine Coast and Caboolture areas.
You will play an key role in supporting participants to achieve their goals, build independence, and enhance their quality of life while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion.
We currently havemorning, afternoon, weekend and inactive overnight (sleepover)shifts available as part of a supportive rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred supports to individuals living with psychosocial and other disabilities
Implement Individual Support Plans and Positive Behaviour Support Strategies
Assist with medication administration in accordance with policies and procedures
Support participants with their emotional, mental and physical wellbeing
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as required
Complete domestic duties including meal preparation, cleaning,
laundry and household maintenance
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes and incident reporting
Promote participant choice, independence, dignity and community inclusion
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the rights of all participants
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working in Disability Support or the NDIS sector
Current Australian Driver Licence
Reliable, roadworthy vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Current Flu Vaccination
Reliable smartphone with internet/data access
Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and inactive overnight shifts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, compassionate and committed to providing quality supports
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Physically capable of performing manual handling and other support worker duties
Desirable
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Ageing or equivalent)
Experience supporting participants with psychosocial disability and complex behaviours
Mental Health First Aid qualification
Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans
