Safety & Compliance Coordinator (HSEQ)
Malaga | Permanent Part-Time (30 Hours per Week) | Adaptable Across 4 or 5 Days

Join Our Team
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible across a business, building relationships and making safety practical and relevant embedding our Be Safe culture.
You will work closely with Operations, Supervisors, Schedulers, our team of Maintenance Technicians, Painters and Electricians and external service providers to ensure our people are properly onboarded, trained, supported and equipped to work safely.
This is not a role focused solely on paperwork or auditing from behind a desk.
You will divide your time between our Malaga office and active sites across Perth, providing practical guidance and support, and helping teams continuously improve the way work is planned and delivered.
You will enjoy the variety of:
Visiting job sites and supporting safe work practices across Perth
Coordinating new employee safety inductions and onboarding
Organising training, licences and workforce competency records
Delivering Toolbox Talks and facilitating team training on company HSEQ processes
Maintaining safety systems, registers and documentation, including document control in accordance with company procedures
Supporting and monitoring contractor compliance, including onboarding, inductions and required documentation
Preparing reports, analysing performance data and monitoring HSEQ objectives
Supporting internal and external audits/investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Experience is important, but so is the way you work with people.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, organised and confident engaging with both field and office teams.
You will be comfortable having honest safety conversations while remaining practical, constructive and solutions-focused.
You will bring:
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) desireable.
Five or more years' experience in a workplace safety, HSEQ, compliance or coordination role, preferably within the building and construction industry.
Working knowledge of WA work health and safety legislation
Experience conducting site inspections and supporting operational teams
Confidence delivering inductions, Toolbox Talks or safety training
Strong administration, reporting and document-control capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competence using Microsoft Office and digital business systems
A current Australian driver's licence
Experience within construction, building maintenance, trades or a similar field-based workplace would also be advantageous.
A Part-Time Role with Variety
This is apermanent part-time position offering 30 hours per week, worked flexibly across either four or five days.

The working arrangement can be structured across:
Four days per week with longer working days; or
Five shorter working days.
