With works underway and a long-term delivery program ahead, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand - Civil Utilities to join our Civil & Infrastructure team.This is an opportunity to work on a landmark Adelaide project delivering critical underground utilities infrastructure.

About the RoleReporting to the Site Supervisor, you will coordinate daily site activities, resources and labour while leading crews undertaking civil utilities works.
This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the delivery of water, sewer, stormwater and associated underground infrastructure.Working alongside operators, pipelayers and labourers, you will help ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
What You'll DoLead and support civil utilities crews delivering water, sewer, stormwater and associated infrastructure worksCoordinate plant, labour and materials to achieve daily work activitiesAssist with trenching, excavation, pipe installation and associated civil construction worksMonitor site progress and help maintain productivity,



quality and safety standardsMaintain daily site records and communicate progress to supervisorsPromote safe work practices and ensure compliance with project requirementsSupport incident reporting and continuous improvement initiatives on site
What You'll BringExperience working on civil utilities, infrastructure or construction projectsExperience delivering water, sewer, stormwater or associated underground services worksProven ability to lead crews and coordinate daily site activitiesStrong understanding of trenching, excavation and underground service installation activitiesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and plansClear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solvingStrong understanding of WHS requirements and working around live servicesCurrent Driver's Licence and First Aid CertificateAbility to obtain required project and site clearances
