Role Description
We are seeking two Family Law Solicitors (4-6 PAE) to join our team.
The successful candidates will work in office from our newly renovated office located in Bolton St, Newcastle, NSW (just around the corner from the stunning Newcastle Beach).
Each candidate will be working within a smaller team made up of 3-4 staff (including a senior solicitor/ accredited specialist, junior solicitor, and paralegal) and will report directly to their senior solicitor / team leader.
The Successful Candidates Will




be capable of providing advice and representation in a broad range of family law matters, holding day to day carriage of matters from initial intake through to settlement / hearing.
have a strong knowledge of alternative dispute resolution methods, and approach their work in a collaborative and colleagiate manner, in line with the values of our firm.
be able to organise their work schedule to ensure matters are undertaken diligently, and key performance metrics are met.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Family Law, including at least 4-6 years post-admission experience (PAE) managing a broad range of family law matters.
demonstrated experience in litigation, dispute resolution, and court advocacy.
Current NSW practising certificate, or eligibility to obtain one, and admission as a solicitor in Australia.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage a busy caseload, prioritise competing deadlines, and work effectively within an on-site team environment.
