We're currently seeking an experiencedFluid Power Engineer (Hydraulics Engineer)to join a major industrial project, supporting delivery across multiple workstreams within a complex engineering environment.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for contributing to thedesign, coordination, and delivery of fluid power systemsacross key project packages.
The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of fluid power engineering components, including:
Supporting thedesign, integration, and delivery of hydraulic systems
Working acrosspumps, motors, and industrial equipment
Contributing todesign reviews, engineering documentation, and technical problem solving
Supportingprocurement, scheduling, and cost trackingactivities
Assisting withinstallation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, and operations
Ensuring compliance withsafety, engineering standards, and project requirements
About You
To be successful in this role,



you will have:
5-10 years' experience influid power / hydraulics engineering
A relevantengineering degree or diploma (mechanical, mechatronics or similar)
Robust experience working with:
Hydraulic systems
Pumps and motors
Industrial or heavy engineering equipment
Experience working onlarge-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
Ability to work acrossmultiple project areas and disciplines
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have
Experience inheavy industrial environments (e.g. steel, mining, manufacturing)
Exposure todesign tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)
Experience withcommissioning or construction phases
