About South Burnett CTC Inc
South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation focused on supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and ages.
Our services encompass various areas such as Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, and Disability Services.
We operate throughout the South Burnett region, with teams based in Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon.
As a registered NDIS provider, CTC is committed to empowering people with disabilities through personalised support plans.
Our aim is to promote independence and community engagement, ensuring that participants have access to the necessary services and opportunities for a fulfilling life.
Position Overview
As a Disability Support Worker in Supported Independent Living (SIL), you will be essential in delivering high-quality support and care to participants living in SIL accommodations.
You will work closely with individuals to help them achieve their NDIS goals and develop independent living skills.
Your role will involve collaboration with other support staff to ensure a positive living setting and to promote the overall well-being of each participant.




Rosters ranging from 72 to 144 hours over 4 weeks.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to fostering independence.
You should be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to motivate participants in their daily activities.
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or actively pursuing relevant qualifications.
Experience in personal care services and managing challenging behaviours.
Demonstrated compassion and empathy towards individuals living with disabilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who can uphold the principles of respect and inclusion, ensuring that every participant feels valued and supported in their journey towards greater independence.
Salary & Benefits
This is a permanent part-time position with a pay rate of $***** - $***** per hour (Social and Community Services Worker Level 2), plus the opportunity for salary packaging.
