The creation of a brand-newHR Advisorrole reflects our commitment to strengthening capability and building a positive and sustainable workplace culture.
We are currently seeking aHR Advisor,to join the team who is approachable and genuinely interested in being a part of a caring community.
This newly created role will be the operational backbone of BlueWave Living's HR function, being the first point of contact for our Bluewave community.
You will report to the HR Manager and work across the full employee lifecycle.

The Role
Serve as BlueWave Living's RTW Coordinator and engage with external provider
Administer WHS incident management - record, investigate, track corrective actions, and prepare monthly incident reports
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment - advertising, shortlisting, interview scheduling, reference checks, offers, and contracts
Manage all pre-employment screening: ACQSC Banning Order Register checks,
National Police Check, AHPRA verification, and visa/work rights
Administer the full employee lifecycle - leave, probation tracking, performance appraisal cycles, and EA pay review letters
Serve as first point of contact for staff HR queries - resolving routine matters and escalating complaints, legal risk, or union matters to the HR Manager without delay
Maintain data quality, mandatory training compliance records, and vaccination tracking
Conduct exit interviews and coordinate the staff recognition program
About You:
Genuine care and consideration for others and a want to be a part of a community
Qualifications in HR, Business, or a related discipline
2–5+ years in an operational HR role; aged care, disability or health sector experience valued
Certificate IV in WHS (WHS*****) or SIRA-recognised equivalent - mandatory or actively working towards
Familiarity with Aged Care Act **** workforce obligations, worker screening, and Code of Conduct requirements (desirable)
Proficiency Microsoft Office
National Police Check
