Content Creator (Part-Time)
Location: Brisbane or Gold Coast, QLD (Hybrid)
Cent Social is a social media content agency that helps businesses grow through high-quality, engaging content.
We manage the entire content process for our clients, from planning and filming through to editing and publishing.
We're looking for a Content Creator to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week), with the opportunity to move into a full-time role as we continue to grow.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both filming and editing social media content.
You'll be responsible for visiting clients to capture content on-site before editing footage remotely into engaging short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to content planning and creative strategy for a range of businesses across different industries.
This role is ideal for someone who is about to graduate university, or starting out in their content creation career.
Responsibilities
Film social media content for clients on location.
Edit high-quality short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.
Edit content using Descript, CapCut and other video editing software.
Organise and manage video files and editing projects.
Assist with developing content plans for clients.
Contribute ideas towards content strategies and creative concepts.
Ensure all content aligns with each client's brand and goals.
Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Will need to be comfortable sometimes appearing on camera in videos.
What We're Looking For




Experience filming and editing short-form social media content.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current content trends.
Experience using Descript, CapCut or similar editing software.
A creative eye for framing, storytelling and pacing.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Enthusiastic, ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the team.
A current Queensland driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast, with the ability to travel to client locations across both regions when required.
Someone who is about to graduate university, or is starting out in their social media career.
Bonus Skills
Experience creating content for businesses or brands.
Knowledge of social media strategy and content planning.
Photography or graphic design experience.
Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or other professional editing software.
