Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on BYD vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelinesDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipmentCarry out inspections, road tests, and fault findingComplete service documentation and ensure accurate record-keepingEnsure all work is carried out to a high standard, with a solid focus on safety and qualityKeep up to date with BYD's latest service procedures and technology (EV training provided)Collaborate with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure timely and efficient service deliveryMaintain a clean, organised and compliant workshop environment
Requirements




Fully qualified automotive mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with modern vehicle systems (EV experience a plus, but not essential)Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitudeGood communication skills and a team player mindsetValid Australian driver's licence
