About the role
Join the dynamic team at COAST TO COAST SA PTY LTD' as a full-time Accountant/Data Entry professional based in our Royal Park, SA office.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, processing transactions, data entry, making quotes in excel or other online portals and providing valuable data insights to support strategic decision-making.
What you'll be doing
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Performing data entry tasks to ensure the timely and precise recording of financial transactions
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and other key documents
Providing support to the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks
Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field
Certificate IV in Accounting or related field is required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Accountant/Data Entry role, preferably within the Accounting industry
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is required
Proficency in XERO accounting softare
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
