About the Role
Due to continued growth, Contract Resources (CR) is seeking experienced and safety-focused High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) / Ultra High Pressure (UHP) Assistants to support the successful delivery of fabric maintenance and protective coatings scopes throughout ****.
Working within high-performing teams, you will assist various specialist crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This role will involve hands-on industrial cleaning, equipment setup, labouring duties, confined space work and supporting specialised UHP operations across multiple project work fronts.




This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with experience in industrial services, shutdowns or maintenance environments who thrive in fast-paced project settings and are committed to delivering safe and reliable outcomes.

Duties will include but are not limited to
Assisting HPW/UHP Operators with surface preparation and industrial cleaning activities
Supporting internal vessel cleaning and maintenance activities
Assisting with heat exchanger tube bundle cleaning activities
Setting up, maintaining and packing down HPW/UHP equipment and associated tooling
Performing manual cleaning, housekeeping and general labouring duties
Preparing work areas and equipment for coatings and surface preparation activities
Operating equipment and tools within competency and training requirements
Working in confined spaces and at heights where project activities require
Conducting equipment inspections and reporting defects or maintenance requirements
Completing pre-start inspections, JSAs, Take 5s and other safety documentation
Identifying hazards, reporting risks and contributing to a proactive safety culture
Maintaining housekeeping standards across work fronts and project areas
Collaborating with supervisors, operators and project personnel to achieve project milestones
Ensuring strict compliance with all Work Health, Safety, Environment and Quality requirements
Requirements & Experience Needed
MSMSS*****: Use High Pressure Water Jetting (essential)




Previous experience assisting HPW/UHP operations within industrial environments (essential)
Previous experience on industrial coatings, maintenance, shutdown or surface preparation projects (highly desirable)
Experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, Mining or Heavy Industrial environments (desirable)
Construction White Card (essential)
Working Safely at Heights (within 2 years) – essential
Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (within 2 years) – essential
Gas Test Atmosphere (within 2 years) – desirable
Current Driver's Licence (essential)
Vacuum Loading Operations ticket or experience (advantageous)
Breathing Apparatus (BA) – desirable
Solid commitment to safety, quality and environmental compliance
Ability to work day and night shifts, including weekends where required
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
