The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and proactiveModern Workplace Engineerto join our Technology Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional who is passionate about modern workplace technologies, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional user experiences across a complex and diverse organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Information Technology, you will act as the subject matter expert for Brightwater's modern workplace environment, providing technical leadership, escalation support, and strategic input to enhance our technology landscape.
You will collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to drive system improvements, strengthen security, and ensure our workplace technologies continue to meet the needs of our workforce and clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing expert technical support and escalation management across the modern workplace technology stack
Contributing to IT strategy, roadmaps, and technology standards
Designing, maintaining, and documenting technical solutions and architecture




Supporting and participate in technology projects and working groups
Driving continual improvement initiatives across systems, processes, and services.
Contributing to information security practices, embedding a Zero Trust mindset
Supporting incident, problem, and change management activities
Work collaboratively with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to optimise service delivery
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including as-built diagrams and standards
About You
You are a technically capable engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and improving user outcomes.
You bring strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:
Experience working in an Engineer-level role within a complex organization.
Demonstrated experience supporting and administering up-to-date workplace technologies.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud-based workplace platforms, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and related infrastructure.
Experience managing incidents, problems, and changes within an IT service management environment.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.




Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience within aged care, community services, disability services, or healthcare environments.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and modern security frameworks.
You will also need:
A satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained in the last 12 months
A valid driver's licence as defined by the Department of Trasport WA (DoTWA)
